Zeta Potential Analyzer
Zeta Potential Analyzer
The Zeta Potential Analyzer measures the zeta potential of macroscopic solid surfaces, providing insights into surface charge characteristics at the solid-liquid interface. This information is crucial for understanding and optimising surface properties in fields such as materials science, pharmaceuticals, and environmental studies. Our equipment is the SurPASS™ from Anton Paar.
Key features
- High sensitivity: Detects minute changes in surface properties, enabling precise analysis of surface chemistry and adsorption processes.
- Versatile sample cells: The system includes an adjustable gap cell (suitable for small samples 20x10 mm), a clamping cell (for samples at least 35x15 mm or 17 mm in diameter), and a cylindrical cell for analyzing fibrous and porous materials (minimum pore size of 25 µm).
- Automated measurements: Features an integrated titration unit for fully automated pH and additive concentration adjustments, reducing manual intervention and enhancing reproducibility.
- User-friendly operation: The intuitive software interface offers clear data visualization and supports rapid data acquisition at rates exceeding 5 Hz.
