Mad about Materials Engineering

The CCEM is collaborating with Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera as part of the “Bojos per la Ciència” program, launching the first edition of the course “Bojos per l’Enginyeria de Materials”.

This course is designed for high school students with interest in technology and research, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of material sciences through practical, experimental, and outreach sessions led by our research team.

The participants will be able to:

• • Live firsthand the daily life of a researcher in a leading research center.
  • Experiment in workshops and hands-on activities on key topics in science and materials engineering.
  • Develop their own research project under the mentorship of our research team.
  • Share experiences with researchers who will help them resolve doubts and inspire them in shaping their academic and professional future.
  • Showcase their research findings publicly at a simulated scientific conference.
