FRONTIERS journalism

The CCEM Barcelona participates as a host institution in the FRONTIERS initiative, funded by the European Research Council (ERC). This project offers science journalists the opportunity to immerse themselves in groundbreaking research, fostering independent science journalism, promoting trust in science, and combating misinformation.

Our center is on the lead of advancing materials sciences to address global challenges in health, environmental sustainability, and energy. Our multidisciplinary teams are at the forefront of materials science, conducting cutting-edge research in micro- and nano-engineering, biomaterials, environmental recovery, and energy harvesting.

By participating in FRONTIERS journalism, we aim to share our research advancements with the broader public through the lens of science journalism. We are welcoming journalists passionate about communicating the impact of scientific discoveries to join us in this exciting opportunity.
