Call for Applications: CCEM María de Maeztu MSc Thesis Fellowhsips  

The Centre de Recerca en Ciència i Enginyeria Multiescala de Barcelona (CCEM) announces the opening of the CCEM Maria de Maeztu Scholarships.This initiative is designed to support high-potential Master’s students in initiating their research careers by undertaking their Master’s Thesis (MSc thesis) within one of CCEM's multidisciplinary research groups.

The primary objective of these fellowships is to foster research excellence and provide hands-on training in key advanced fields. Awardees will work in fully equipped laboratories alongside experienced scientists, gaining exposure to cutting-edge techniques in a collaborative environment.

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements at the time of application:

1. Academic Enrollment: Be currently enrolled in an official Master's degree program at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

2. Academic Merit: Demonstrate a strong academic record, passion for scientific research, and motivation to pursue a research trajectory.

3. Master's Thesis Requirement: The fellowship must be dedicated directly to the development and completion of the student's Master’s Thesis (TFM).

4. CCEM Supervisor. The Master Thesis supervisor must be an accredited member of the CCEM.
   
   

Selected fellows will receive:

• Financial remuneration during the development of their thesis (€650/month for up to 6 months).

• Personalized scientific mentorship from senior CCEM researchers.

• Direct access to advanced experimental facilities and analytical techniques at UPC.

• Integration into an international, multidisciplinary research community.
