The IDEAS project (Improving Drug Efficacy with next-generation AmorphouS materials and trained experts) is an MSCA Doctoral Network that aims to overcome one of the major challenges in pharmaceutical development: the low water solubility of many new therapeutic molecules.

By advancing amorphicity in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical systems, the initiative aims to improve the solubility, stability, manufacturability, and therapeutic performance of medicines. The IDEAS project brings together leading academic and industrial partners across Europe to train a new generation of researchers capable of translating fundamental materials science into practical solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.
