The NanoReMedi project (Functional Nano-Scaffolds for Regenerative Medicine) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme. It brings together leading academic and industrial partners to train 13 PhD researchers in the design and application of peptide-based nanomaterials for regenerative medicine. The project focuses on innovative solutions for tissue repair, stem-cell-based therapies, and infection-resistant implants. Doctoral candidates follow a structured program combining research, interdisciplinary training, and secondments across academic and industrial settings. Our research group, IMEM, is a key partner in the network, contributing its expertise in nanomaterials and biomedical technologies to help develop next-generation therapeutic platforms.
