Dr. Antonio Capezza is a researcher at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and a specialist in the development of sustainable materials derived from biomass. As a leading figure in the integration of circular economy principles and industrial scalability into polymer science.

In this CCEM Talk, it will be explored how bio-based polymers and industrial side-streams can be transformed into high-performance functional materials. Dr. Capezza will present how blended processing techniques can be utilized to engineer the porosity and structure of materials, optimizing them for critical environmental applications. Through the lens of competitive projects such as BioRESorb and PorBIOsorb, the session will illustrate the transition from raw biomass to scalable, sustainable solutions.

This seminar represents a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the latest advances at the interface of circular materials design and sustainable industrial processing.
