Dr. Vandana Miller is a Professor at the Drexel University College of Medicine (USA) and also President of the International Society of Plasma Medicine. Dr. Miller is a leading figure in the field of "Plasma Medicine," recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.

In this CCEM talk it will be
explored how non-thermal plasma generates a "cocktail" of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species capable of modulating cellular homeostasis. Dr. Miller will present how controlled oxidative stress can induce immunogenic cell death in tumors and activate immune pathways against viruses such as HIV and herpes.

This seminar represents a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the latest advances in plasma-based oncological and viral therapies.
