Prof. Upal Roy is the PI of Roy's Lab, at University of Texas. His research aims to advance healthcare through his expertise in drug development and targeted drug and vaccine delivery, with a specialization in personalized nanomedicine. His research addresses complex medical challenges such as HIV-1 infection and latency, HTLV-1/2, neurological disorders, and neuroAIDS. He also focuses on biomarker development to enhance diagnostics and treatment monitoring. With a strong foundation in immunology and microbiology, Dr. Roy is dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions that have the potential to transform patient outcomes in infectious diseases and neurological conditions.
